New Patients | Staff Bios The professional vet staff at Fairview Animal Medical Center is focused on delivering full service companion animal veterinary clinic service. Our focus is preventative healthcare and wellness, dentistry, surgical services, and the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions for your pet. Our goal is to provide top quality healthcare so that pets and their people can enjoy many happy and healthy years together. Below is a little about our staff, their interests, and veterinary training.
 | Dr. Boisen Dr. Matt Boisen has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 18 years. He performs the surgeries at Fairview including spays, neuters, exploratory surgery, c-sections, cherry eye removal, cruciate repair, fractures and more. He also enjoys clinical medicine and dental wellness/ root canals. His interests include gardening, cooking, traveling and adventures with his two children (Thomas 12, Ellen 11).

 | Dr. Wendland Dr. Luanne Wendland did her undergraduate work at Purdue University and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1978. She has been practicing small animal medicine for 30 years. Special interests include internal medicine and cardiology. Most of her free moments are spent breeding and showing American Saddlebreds. She has an array of pets including 6 horses, 3 dogs, 4 cats, 1 miniature donkey and 4 chickens.

 | Jody Boisen Jody Boisen has been the office manager at Fairview for over five years. Her interests include camping, walking the dog in the woods, the family cats, Sudoku and Ken Ken, and her two children, Tom and Ellen.

 | Ruby Schultz Ruby Schultz is the lead technician at Fairview and has been working as a Certified Vetarinary Technician (CVT) for over 10 years. She enjoys all aspects of her career including blood draws, IV fluids, x-ray, assisting with exams and surgeries. Her free time is spent with the dog, cat, ferret, snake, fish, and her husband and 2 boys. |
 | Samantha Yule Samantha Yule is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). She graduated from Ridgewater College in 2005, and started working at Fairview in June of 2006. Sam grew up on a hog farm outside of Owatonna which lead to her enjoyment of helping animals. She has 4 dogs, and several farm cats, as well as a loving husband. |
